Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of NNM X (the "Service"), provided by NNM ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
NNM X is a messaging application built on the open Matrix protocol, enabling end-to-end encrypted text, voice, and video communication between users.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to provide consent to processing of your personal data, whichever is greater. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@nnmconnect.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- send unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or data;
- send unsolicited bulk messages (spam);
- exploit, harm, or attempt to exploit or harm minors.
5. Content Ownership
You retain all rights in the messages, media, and other content you send through the Service. You grant us only the limited rights necessary to transmit, store, and deliver your content as part of the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by NNM and its licensors. NNM X is built upon open-source components, including software licensed under AGPL-3.0 and other licenses, and is itself distributed under those terms where applicable.
7. Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will NNM, its affiliates, or their licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NNM and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which NNM is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
